Mill Hill is a great place for dogs to run around and get plenty of exercise but sometimes an old dog knows what he likes and the dog I'm dog sitting this week likes a good sleep!
He's 13 years old so he's not as mobile as he was in his prime. He's the first dog I've looked after who needs to be woken up in the morning. He really is behaving like a typical teenager!
Walks are a little slower, play is a little gently, and rest is a bigger part of his day.
He's not a big fan of running around in the mud that Mill Hill's open spaces are covered with this time of year so we stick to the paths. As a dog sitter, I usually spend a lot of time cleaning muddy dog's after a good walk, but not Mr Sleepy. A simple paw clean & we're done!
